REPS Courses

Are you interested in representing your workmates on site? The CFMEU regularly runs health and safety rep and shop steward training for workers who’ve been nominated to represent the union on-the-job.  The first step is to put your hand up; to be a Health and Safety Rep you need to be voted in by your fellow workers on site. If you’re interested in becoming a Shop Steward you need to be nominated by a CFMEU Organiser.

For more specific information about the training including timeframes, download the Course Directory. You can also download our Dare to Learn Course Pathways Guide; this provides suggested pathways for careers in construction.
