This is a Mackay based fulltime position, working within the Queensland Mining areas and associated communities.
The CFMEU, Mining and Energy Division’s Members work in underground and open cut coal and metals mines, the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, the petrochemical industry, coal ports and iron ore mining and transportation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
You will participate in planning, implementing, and review of targeted organising campaigns.
Duties will include, probing targets, setting up campaigns, developing organising committees, systematic contact of workers and members, developing workplace actions and developing effective workplace relationships.
You must be self-motivated, have a genuine desire to work with others and help workers within our industries. You will report to the National Organising Director and will work in closely with District, liaising with responsible officials about work undertaken.
Key Selection Criteria – Experience & Qualifications
Salary
Salary package ranges from $100,000 to $115,000 plus generous benefits, dependent on qualifications and experience.
