Griffin Coal must come clean with workers

The Union is urging Griffin Coal to urgently brief the workforce about its future plans and financial viability.

With rumours circulating about the future of the Collie mine, WA District Secretary Greg Busson has written to mine management officially requesting a ‘State of the Nation’ meeting.

In the face uncertainty heading into Christmas, members at Griffin Coal are being urged to prioritise their safety and wellbeing and access the Employee Assistance Program if they are experiencing undue stress and anxiety.
