Mine operators must take all reasonable steps to manage the exposure of workers to COVID-19 and ensure access to treatment, in line with federal and state government advice and requirements.

NSW Resources Regulator

These are some of the COVID-19 complaints from NSW mineworkers to the Resources Regulator.

Every mine must have a site specific risk management plan and it must be strictly enforced - including managing risk of transmission with use of breathalysers.
